Meet Caroline Falcone, Treasurer! ⭐️ Learn more about Caroline below!
“Hello! My name is Caroline Falcone and I am a senior Health Science major and Spanish minor. I am from Florence, SC and love everything about Clemson! I made a decision to follow speech therapy less than a year ago - but I am loving it so far! In the past, I have always loved working with kids the most, but I currently have an internship with an SLP in Clemson at the Roger C. Peace Rehabilitation Center in Patrick Square. I shadow the speech language pathologist as well as create treatment materials for adults with neurological damage. This year I have found that I adore working with older adults. I can’t wait to meet everyone through this club and help you find the dream career path I’ve found through this club and my major!” 🧡

Meet Maddie Carter, Graphics Chair! ⭐️ Learn more about Maddie below!
“Hey everyone! My name is Maddie Carter! I’m a senior Elementary Education major from North Augusta, SC. I have always had a passion for working with children and young adults with diverse backgrounds and needs. For the past two years, I have experienced opportunities with SLPs at elementary schools, outpatient clinics, and even in the NICU. I have also had the opportunity of leading, encouraging, and mentoring a group of six ClemsonLIFE students during two-weeks of sorority recruitment. These opportunities solidified my future goal of being an SLP by 'giving other's a voice that otherwise would not have one.' I have loved every second of my shadowing experiences and can confidently say that this is the route I want to take in pursuing my lifelong career. I am very excited to be in a club with others that are so passionate about speech and occupational therapy!”

Meet Eliza Brown, Membership Chair! ⭐️ Learn more about Eliza below!
“Hey y’all! My name is Eliza Brown and I am from Johns Creek, GA which is about 30 minutes north of Atlanta! I am a Junior Psychology major with minors in American Sign Language and Brand Communications. Coming into Clemson, I was still wavering between if I wanted to go towards Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy. I think I am leaning more towards Speech Therapy! This club has been so helpful by providing professionals to talk to, as well as other members in the club, to allow me to make this decision to pursue Speech Therapy! In high school and college, I have been blessed with opportunities to work with special needs children, and I fell in love with the field and pediatrics. I was able to shadow a Pediatric OT in at home health this past summer, and I look forward to shadowing more Speech Therapists in the future. I cannot wait to meet all of you who share similar passions for OT and Speech!” 😁

“Hey y’all! My name is Lauren Brewington and I am from Union, SC! I am a junior Early Childhood Education major with a minor in Psychology and plan to pursue a career in Speech Therapy! My younger brother, Aiden, went to Speech Therapy when he was little and I got to attend along with my Mom; from that moment I was in love! I am so excited to get the opportunity to work with children and to do something I’m passionate about would make that even more special! I am so excited for this coming year and can’t wait to see all of the amazing things our club gets involved in!” 😁

Meet Huntington Cotten, Vice President of OT! ⭐️ Learn more about Huntington below!
“Hi guys! My name is Huntington Cotten and I am from Lexington, SC! I am a Junior French and International Health major and hope to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy! I would love to work with children with special needs! I think that a career in therapy is special because it allows the provider an opportunity to have a real impact on the life of the patient, especially when the patient may believe that they are fighting some of their hardest battles. The opportunity to truly have a patient-provider relationship is something that I am most excited about! I can't wait to get started and meet everyone this year!” 💪
