This means we have passed NYS OCFS Fire and Safety and Licensor inspections, and have passed all tests and inspections required in the application process, such as water, radon, woodstove installation, medical (for entire household), provider and household member back
ground checks, and more. Part of being a NYS Registered Family Daycare requires any person that cares for children to complete trainings specific to the child care industry, as well as maintaining current First Aid and CPR for infants, children, and adults. Many hours have been put into improving the safety of The WAGs Crew. Some of these include a fenced in play area, barricaded woodstove (inspected for proper installation), back up generator capable of running the entire house, safety plugs on all outlets, CO2 and smoke detectors, landline, safety rail along steep slope. While safety is a huge factor, we wouldn't be a Playcare if we didn't have fun! We offer a wide variety of activities, check out our website for more details! We are excited to provide a NYS Registered Family Daycare, which currently does not exist in our community. There has been a lot of interest as we have progressed through the NYS Registration process. We expect now that we are NYS Family Daycare Registered, we will fill child care positions quickly. We currently have four immediate openings for children over the age of two years and two openings for school age. We are willing to work with your schedule as best as we can. We offer full time, part time, before and after school, and half day care. We are willing to work with the Subsidy (DSS) payment option. Rates are locked in for one year following contract signing! Our rates are as follows, as of July 30, 2022:
Full Time (40+ hours a week): $185 per week ($37 per day)
Part Time (anything less than 40 hours a week): $40 per day
Before and After School (school days only): $25 per day
Half Day: $30 per day
