An Ode to the Workers
To the parents, who work hard each day,
Perfecting their crafts with intention and purpose,
Before returning home to encourage, love, and support their kids,
Giving their best, even when the day has already asked so much of them.
To the teachers, who invest in their students day in and day out,
Pouring out their knowledge with dedication and empathy,
Nurturing in each student a sense of wonder and a deeply rooted belief in their own ability to succeed.
To the tutors, who go above and beyond to meet each student where they are at,
Seeing not just the gaps in knowledge, but the whole person sitting in front of them,
Tailoring each lesson with skill, to help them remember that they are capable.
To our common goal, of raising confident learners and bold thinkers,
Who know the value of hard work,
Who are confident in their own worth,
Who aren't afraid to reach for the stars,
Who make a difference, simply by knowing that the millions of little steps they take each day,
Will add up to create a beautiful, impactful life.
Happy Labor Day, from the Learning Loft. You are seen, known, and celebrated.
