The big expressions.
The made-up characters.
The elaborate stories.
The accents that appear out of nowhere.

Maybe they don't need less drama.

“WAIT—I wasn't ready.”

“No, from the BEGINNING.”

“Okay, NOW watch.”

Parents of dancers… we know you felt this in your soul. 😂🩰

But one day we'll miss the living-room performances, the constant twirling, and the tiny voice saying, “Watch me!”

So let them dance. 💜

We regret to inform you that several of our students have caught a very serious case of the THEATRE BUG. 🎭

Symptoms include:

✨ Random singing
✨ Choreography in inappropriate places
✨ Making lifelong theatre friends
✨ Suddenly owning an unreasonable number of costumes
✨ Asking, “What show are we doing next?” approximately 4 minutes after closing night

Unfortunately, we haven't found a cure. We're also not looking very hard. 😂💜

Just a little reminder that childhood is supposed to look like THIS. 💜

Messy hair. Big laughs. New friends. Trying something scary. Being silly. Learning something new. Cheering for each other. And having a place where you can completely be yourself.

Every family has one. 😂

🎭 The Musical Theatre Kid — everything is a performance.

🎤 The Music Kid — there is ALWAYS a concert happening somewhere in your house.

🩰 The Dance Kid — hasn't walked normally through a room since 2019.

😂 The Acting Kid — has 47 characters and you're expected to know all of them.

Sometimes they come for the singing.

Sometimes they come for the dancing.

Sometimes they just REALLY want to be in a show. 😂🎭

And then somewhere between rehearsals, inside jokes, missed cues, big laughs and curtain calls... they find their people. 💜

That's the magic we never get tired of watching.
