6th grade Science check in: After our chapter test, we created chemical reactions to erupt our volcanoes with Elephant Toothpaste. The students were pretty excited to discover it created an exothermic reaction (the extra energy is released through heat, making the foam warm)

Third grade learned all about hurricanes! Students had to construct a hurricane proof house that had to be above ground and have a strong roof. We tested them with a high powered fan and also poured water in there to imitate flooding.

All the houses survived the hurricane!!
