Hello Santa Fe Parents! I wanted to touch base on a couple of things. First, this is a reminder that we have our Meet the Teacher event on Monday evening from 4:30-6:00. Our teachers have been working so hard to get ready for you and everyone on campus is so excited to welcome your kids back to school. If you have already purchased school supplies, go ahead and plan to bring those with you so there's one less thing to worry about on Wednesday, our first day of school.

Next is that we still have many students who are still not fully registered in Skyward. We cannot assign your student a teacher until they are fully registered in Skyward. If you need assistance with this, the school will be open on Monday starting at 8:00. We will also have a room setup to help parents at meet the teacher, this will just take some extra time so please plan accordingly.

We sincerely hope you've had a wonderful summer and we are so excited to start our upcoming year. We look forward to seeing you on Monday at Meet the Teacher.

¡Hola, padres de familia de Santa Fe! Quería comentarles un par de cosas. En primer lugar, les recuerdo que el lunes por la tarde, de 4:30 a 6:00, tendremos nuestro evento para conocer a los maestros (*Meet the Teacher*). Nuestros maestros se han esforzado mucho para prepararse para su visita, y todo el personal de la escuela está muy entusiasmado por darles la bienvenida a sus hijos. Si ya han comprado los útiles escolares, por favor tráiganlos con usted; así tendrán una preocupación menos para el miércoles, que es nuestro primer día de clases.

Por otro lado, todavía tenemos muchos estudiantes que no han completado su inscripción en Skyward. No podemos asignar un maestro a su hijo hasta que esté totalmente inscrito en el sistema. Si necesitan ayuda con este trámite, la escuela estará abierta el lunes a partir de las 8:00 a. m. También habilitaremos un espacio para ayudar a los padres durante el evento de presentación de maestros, aunque esto podría tomar algo de tiempo adicional, así que les pedimos que lo tengan en cuenta al planificar su visita.

Esperamos sinceramente que hayan disfrutado de un verano maravilloso; estamos muy emocionados por comenzar este nuevo año escolar. Esperamos verlos el lunes en el evento para conocer a los maestros.

Ms. Elmore previously served the Santa Fe family before recently accepting a leadership role at Marti Elementary.
