📏➕ Math came to life in our 7th grade classroom!

As part of their end-of-year math project, students put their knowledge of scale factor into action by creating larger versions of everyday objects. After carefully measuring a real object, calculating new dimensions, and applying a scale factor, they built scaled-up models that accurately represented the originals.

This hands-on project helped students see how math is used in the real world through measurement, problem-solving, and construction. We are so proud of their creativity, hard work, and attention to detail!

Great job, 7th graders! 👏💙

Through our hands-on programs, our learners are building real-world skills by creating and running their own small-scale businesses. From working in the kitchen to crafting tote bags, designing shirts, and making candles, students are exploring their talents, gaining confidence, and learning what it takes to bring an idea to life.

These microbusinesses are more than just projects—they’re pathways to independence, creativity, and future opportunities.

This month, we celebrate small businesses of all kinds—and the bright futures being built right here at LiFT. 🌟

➕✏️ School isn't over just yet! In middle school math, our students are going beyond worksheets and diving into hands-on learning that brings concepts to life. Whether it’s using manipulatives, working through real-world problems, or collaborating with classmates, they’re building understanding in ways that truly click. 🧠✨

At LiFT, we know there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to learning. By making math interactive and engaging, students gain confidence, strengthen critical thinking skills, and discover that math can actually be fun. 🙌
