We had a great start to the school year last week. It was so much fun to get a visit from Tampa Bay Rays legend, DJ Kitty to kick off the school year!

We are excited to welcome all of our students back for their first full week of the 2026-2027 school year!

☀️ Summer is a great time to build independence.

While school may be out, everyday activities can become valuable opportunities for growth. From helping with household tasks and managing a daily routine to practicing communication skills and making decisions, small moments can help students build confidence and independence.

LiFT Academy is pleased to announce the addition of Julie Perrelli as Chief Development Officer.

A Clearwater native and accomplished fundraising leader, Julie brings more than 20 years of nonprofit experience and 15 years of fundraising leadership to LiFT. Most recently, she served as Assistant Vice President of Events & Partnerships at St. Joseph's Hospitals Foundation, helping strengthen philanthropic support and community partnerships throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Julie has extensive experience leading fundraising initiatives, including major gifts, grants, annual giving, corporate partnerships, planned giving, and special events. Throughout her career, she has consistently exceeded fundraising goals, expanded donor engagement, and built strong relationships that advance organizational missions.

As Chief Development Officer, Julie will lead LiFT's fundraising and advancement efforts, helping expand opportunities for neurodiverse students and ensuring the organization can continue growing its life-changing programs and services.
