This morning, our St. Cecelia Catholic School community was blessed to welcome the Blessed Sacrament throughout our school during a Eucharistic Procession.

Deacon Tony, accompanied by five servers, processed through each classroom carrying the Blessed Sacrament, offering a beautiful and meaningful way to consecrate the beginning of our new academic year to the Lord. ✝️

We are grateful for this special opportunity to invite Christ’s presence, guidance, and blessings into every classroom and throughout our school community. May He continue to guide our students, faculty, and families throughout the year ahead. ❤️

Our fifth graders kicked off the school year by spending the first three weeks researching, creating, collaborating, and presenting their learning about the fascinating Greek gods and goddesses!

As part of their Transdisciplinary Unit, “Who We Are,” students are exploring where our cultures and civilizations evolved and how the past continues to influence who we are today. From research to creative projects and presentations, our fifth graders are developing their communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills along the way!

We’re so proud of the curiosity and creativity they brought to this learning experience! 📚🏺⚡

Our 8th graders have the special privilege of wearing crazy socks to school, and they took it to the next level for Crusader Spirit Day! 🎉

These girls coordinated their friendship socks to show that school spirit is even better when you share it with your friends! 🥰🧦

We love seeing our 8th graders having fun, making memories, and showing off their Crusader spirit! 💙🤍

Last week, we were blessed to gather as a school community for Mass, presided over by Monsignor Morris. ✨ Through the Gospel of Matthew, Monsignor reminded us of the importance of keeping our light shining—and that this light comes to us from Jesus.

His message beautifully connected with our school theme for this year: Be the Light. 💛 May we continue to let Christ’s light shine through our words, our actions, and the way we serve others each day.

We are grateful for this special time of prayer and reflection together, and for the reminder that we are called to Be the Light! 🕯️✝️

Last Friday, we proudly celebrated the graduation of the St. Cecelia Catholic School Class of 2026! 🎓✨

Together in their gowns, this incredible group of young men and women marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. We are so proud of all they have accomplished academically, spiritually, and personally during their years at SCS.

As they move forward to high school and beyond, we pray they continue to lead with faith, kindness, courage, and the light of Christ in their hearts.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! Your Crusader family will always be cheering you on. 💙💛

Our hearts are full as we celebrated the final days of our incredible 8th graders at SCS. 💙💛

Last week, our 8th graders gathered in front of the chapel one last time with their little buddies to share hugs, smiles, and goodbye wishes before attending a beautiful Mass celebrated in their honor. During the Mass, one of our 8th graders had the special privilege of crowning Mary, while each student offered flowers to Our Blessed Mother in a touching tribute of faith and devotion.

In his inspiring homily, Father Michael reminded our students that, “It is the purpose of Catholic education to not only fill the mind with knowledge, but also ignite the spirit with fire.” He then presented each 8th grader with an unlit candle, encouraging them to light it whenever they may feel surrounded by darkness, remembering that Christ’s light is always with them.

Following Mass, our entire school lined the outside hallways to clap out and celebrate our 8th graders as they walked campus together one final time. It was a beautiful and emotional sendoff for a class that has left a lasting mark on our school community.
