And that’s a wrap! What a pleasure it’s been working with the Single Marine Program members on Okinawa in our OM Your Yoga 200hr Yoga Teacher Training. This private group training schedule consisted of a program meeting virtually on weeknights with in person classes in the weekends. We have been meeting since June (4am my USA time). These teachers finished teaching their amazing yoga classes tonight! Okinawa you have 5 great new yoga teachers!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Super excited to have our OM YOUR YOGA students enjoy an aerial yoga class! Part of our 200hr YTT includes introduction to Aerial Yoga. It is exciting to see our students experience yoga off the mat and practiced in another manner.❤️

Why is getting outside and being near water good for you?
1) Fresh air is known to improve alertness and balance levels of serotonin, attributed to mood and stress.
2) Air exposed to water – and especially sea water is charged with a good amount of negative ions, (much like a salt lamp) this fresh air helps your body absorb oxygen.
3) You may strengthen your immune system. Increased relaxation and decreased stress means a strengthened immune system
4) Greater Happiness. The term “Blue Mind” refers to a meditative state the brain enters when we are exposed to water. Many scientists have determined that looking at/enjoying water floods the brain with dopamine, or feel good hormones.
5) It’s Relaxing. Water can be very therapeutic and has also been helpful to fight off the negative effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. 🤙🏻
