Allendale Academy seeks to partner with parents in the education of their children. Allendale does not mandate a specific curriculum or a strict scheduled start/stop time for daily work. We believe this is the parent's privilege as the teachers of their children in a home school environment. Consequently School requirements include:

• Either teach 180 days per year, or complete the curriculum for

each school year at hand (total number of days may vary depending on your student and curricula used)
• Keep report card and attendance record (provided by school), showing subjects taught, grades earned, and number of days taught
• Submit a report card at the end of each semester
• Submit attendance records, list of core course curriculum, core course samples (2 per subject) and test results at the end of the school year
• Keep in your home a portfolio consisting of:
• a list of curriculum/materials used
• 2 samples of students work per subject
• Annual test or evaluation (grades 4 and up)
• Outside of Florida, parents assume responsibility for compliance with state requirements

• Student's permanent record card for grades K-8
• Transcripts for grades 9-12
• Achievement test scores
• Health records
Personal Assistance:
• Assistance available via phone, fax, email and mail
• K-12 Scope and Sequence guidelines, listed in the school handbook
• Curriculum advice, if needed
High School Services:
• Diplomas
• Transcripts sent to college/university upon request
• Florida Bright Futures
• Work permit form
• College scholarship information
• High School credits/college prep advice

Bright Futures ACT/SAT/CLT Verification Requirement

Bright Futures Test Score Verification Requirement. Students will be evaluated based on official test scores from the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) repository. To ensure your official test scores are in the FDOE Repository you must request your official test scores be sent to one of Florida’s 12 state universities when registering for the ACT/SAT/CLT. Past scores can be requested for a fee from your student account at Collegeboard (SAT) ACT, or CLT.
