We were honored to welcome the Clearwater Jazz Holiday for a special live performance that introduced our children to the joy of jazz and musical instruments. Following the performance, the inspiration continued in the classroom as the children read books about musical instruments, created music-themed artwork, and played with toy instruments to put on their own classroom performances.

A heartfelt thank you to the Clearwater Jazz Holiday for creating such a fun and memorable morning for our little learners! 🎺🎶🎹

🩷 Valentine’s at Ivy Prep! 🩷

💌 Our Ivy Prep students celebrated Valentine’s Day by reading holiday storybooks, creating crafts, exchanging Valentines with friends, exploring pink and red science experiments, and enjoying a festive Valentine party together. 📕❣️🎨

Groundhog Day at Ivy Prep!

We went on a shadow hunt outside to see if we could spot our own shadows, then brought the fun indoors by creating shadow shapes with flashlights. The children also made adorable groundhog crafts and storytime featured our favorite groundhog books.🔦📚

We made so many special memories on our December Pajama Day!  Cozy Christmas pajamas, joyful learning, and kindness everywhere. ❤️🎄 We played on the playground, created holiday crafts, watched a Christmas movie, made reindeer food to sprinkle at home, and decorated our kindness wreath with ribbons from good deeds.

Our Ivy Prep Christmas Party is always a special day! The children enjoy our Christmas book exchange and unwrapping the gift of a book chosen by a friend. Santa visits to hear their Christmas wishes, joined by Elf on the Shelf sitting right beside him. 🎄
 
The children enjoy storytime with Santa as he reads Twas the Night Before Christmas. We sing favorite holiday songs, shake jingle bells, and enjoy hot cocoa and Christmas treats together. It’s a wonderful day celebrating with our children and families at Ivy Prep. ❤️

Farmer Day at Ivy Prep 🐓🚜🧑‍🌾
The children explored farms, vegetables, and farm animals through crafts, songs, stories, science, and our own Farmer’s Market. Dressed like farmers, the children brought vegetables for show-and-tell and helped make Stone Soup—mixing ingredients, listening to the story, and enjoying what they created. A sweet and yummy learning experience. 🌽🧅🥕

We had fun making Pilgrim and Indian costumes, making Thanksgiving crafts, doing science activities, reading holiday stories, and singing Turkey songs. We also enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast with our Ivy Prep families.
