Tired of classroom management battles? Try Circle Practice.

Circle Practice is a research based tool designed to build community, and it is especially powerful for Grades 3 through 12.

By bringing everyone face-to-face, it replaces punitive consequences with restorative conversation where every voice matters equally.

This practice builds deep trust, creates a safe zone for social emotional learning, and ensures students feel completely supported.

Setting it up is simple:

Move the desks aside.

Arrange the chairs in a full circle.

Grab a unique physical object to use as a talking piece.

To maintain the golden rules of the circle, remember that only the person holding the object speaks while everyone else listens actively. Students are always welcome to pass if they are not ready to share yet.
