Two armed robbers entered a pharmacy in Lexington, North Carolina and fired at the pharmacy manager. The manager, thankfully was armed, and was able to fire back in self-defense, causing the robbers to flee. While outside the store, the robbers continued to shoot at the manager. The manager was grazed in the head, but no one else was hurt. The suspects were caught, and the manager has the support of the staff to keep their job.

Four intruders broke into a home in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, early Thursday morning, but a resident was able to fight back and wound two of the intruders, while the other two fled. One suspect was shot seven times and is in critical but stable condition, while two others were arrested and are being held in jail. A fourth suspect remains at large. The incident is being investigated as a case of self-defense, and there is no indication that the homeowner will face charges. The incident highlights the importance of having adequate firepower in self-defense situations, contrary to the opinion of a U.S. District Judge in Washington, D.C., who recently upheld that city’s ban on "large capacity" magazines.
