Reminder vpk parents tomorrow is water relay day in Mrs. Toni's class. Please bring extra change of clothes incase the children get really wet and want to change!!!

Statement from The Sprout Academy:

The safety and well-being of the children and families we serve remains our highest priority.

We understand how deeply concerning the situation from our Seminole location is for parents and caregivers. Upon being informed by law enforcement of a criminal investigation involving a former employee, we acted immediately to terminate the individual’s employment and are fully cooperating with authorities.

At the time of this statement, law enforcement has not informed us of any evidence indicating that children enrolled at our school were involved in this investigation.

The individual had completed all required state and federal FBI background screenings prior to employment and had no prior complaints or concerns reported to our administration.

Since learning of this matter, we have communicated directly with families as appropriate and in coordination with law enforcement, based on the scope of information available at the time, and we continue to provide updates to our school community as the investigation remains ongoing.

We understand the concern and emotion this situation has created, and our commitment remains providing a safe, nurturing, and trusted environment for every child in our care.
