Student Council Election Information

Students in 3rd–6th grade who expressed interest in running for a seat on our Student Council will be bringing home an information packet today.

▪️ 3rd–5th grade: Students may run for a Class Representative seat.

▪️ 6th grade: Students may run for President, Vice President, Secretary, or Activities Commissioner.

The permission slip and application must be completed and returned to the office by Monday, August 31st.

We’re excited to see our students take on this opportunity to develop leadership skills and represent their classmates!

Dear East Lake Parents and Families,

We want to remind everyone of our morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedures to help keep all of our students safe and traffic moving smoothly.

Morning Drop-Off:
The front of the school is not a parent drop-off or pick-up area. This area is reserved for staff parking and school buses.

Student drop-off is located along the side of the school, in front of the office.
When dropping off your child, please pull as far forward toward the Office gate as possible. This allows more vehicles to pull in behind you and keeps traffic moving.

Please do not stop and get out of your vehicle during morning drop-off. Stopping your vehicle blocks the flow of traffic and creates a backup for the families behind you.

If you need to come inside the school in the morning, please park across the street and walk to the office.

Afternoon Pick-Up:

Please park across the street and walk over to pick up your child.

Parents should not be picking up children at the front gate by the buses. We always have a staff member in front of the Office matching children to the correct guardian. .

Please do not park in a handicap parking space unless you have a valid handicap placard or permit.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and efficient arrival and dismissal process. We appreciate your partnership in keeping all of our students safe!

We’re excited to share that we’re bringing local produce to our school meals! 🍎🥕

This season, we’ll be sourcing fresh produce from two local farms and orchards: Oak Valley Farms and Panella Orchards. Their delicious products will be served at all of our school sites while supplies last.

We’re proud to support our local farming community while giving our students access to fresher, tastier food grown right here in our community.
