Spaghetti Dinner Presale!

The CCCTC Community Service Team are preparing for a Spaghetti Dinner on March 16 from 5-7pm at the CCCTC.

Proceeds from the dinner will go to their Skills USA States Competition Community Service Project.
The focus of their project is to support teens in our communities experiencing homelessness.

Dinners can be eat in or take out. Basket raffles from various local businesses will be on site. They have a goal of selling 500 tickets! Cost is $12 a ticket.

I wanted to share some really exciting news for my IT class. As industry is continuing to move with a dire need for IT Professionals, especially in the cybersecurity field, the more opportunities for my for students to land really great high paying careers. With that being said, my class has been approved for dual enrollment through Pitt University! My seniors next year will be able to take Introduction to Information Security in my class!! This will give my students a greater head start. 🙂 There are still some logistics that need to be done but the big stuff is done and approved!

CCCTC has a group of excited students preparing for BEST Robotics! The students are from various shops (Welding, Precision Machine, IT, Administrative Assistant, Health Occupations, Collision Repair). I am super honored to be their advisor/coach for their team!!

Students had the opportunity to examine part of the course they'll operate their robots through during the BEST Kick-off event in the campus gymnasium.
