What a wonderful first month of school it has been!

September has been all about building a strong foundation for our year together. We have spent a lot of time learning our classroom routines and expectations and what it means to be a friend.

The start of school also brought lots of learning about germs and staying healthy. We talked about how germs spread and practiced ways we can help keep ourselves and our friends healthy.

And, of course, one of our favorite themes to learn about: apples! Our students learned the parts of an apple and how they grow. And, of course, everyone's favorite: apple tasting!

It has been so special watching our students grow more comfortable in their classroom, make new friends, learn new routines, and become more independent each day.

Day 4-Pre-School vacation bible school; Our last day of VBS. We had a fun week and learned so much. On the last day of VBS we learned that God still loves us when we don’t listen. Sometimes that causes us to hide because we are scared or embarrassed but if we turn back to God, we’re going in the right direction.

Day 3 of Pre-School vacation bible school! Adam and Eve were given specific instructions not to eat from a certain tree but they still did. We learned about what to do if we do something that we aren’t supposed to do. We learned about the word repent.
