SunTrust Bank offers private education loans that can help make up the difference when federal loans, scholarships and grants aren't enough to pay for college. Loans are available for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at least half-time at an eligible college or university.

“Just Drive Maryland” Scholarship – Ingerman & Hortwitz L.L.P., Attorneys at Law present a scholarship to help bring more awareness to teenagers of the dangers of distracted driving. They are asking students to submit a creative project that fully demonstrates the dangers of distracted driving. The 1st place winner will receive a new laptop and the 2nd and 3rd place winner will each receive a tablet.

You must have attended Fountaindale Elementary School for at least 2 years, have a minimum GPA of 3.50, intend to continue your education at a 2 or 4 year college/university.

REMINDER...
Applications for all scholarships held by the Community Foundation are due on April 1, 2015.

These scholarships need transcripts and some need recommendations. The last day of school before break will be March 27th. It is important to ask for those request prior to break as we will not be in the office.

The winners of the WCPS FAFSA Frenzy were announced last night at the WCPS Board meeting. The 3 winners were from North Hagerstown High, Williamsport High and Barbara Ingram School of the Arts.
