Clear Lake FCCLA Welcome to the Clear Lake FCCLA page! Like & follow along for all things Family, Career + Community FCCLA: Family Career and Community Leaders of America.

Our main focus is family and building leadership skills within our youth. FCCLA promotes volunteer work by getting our members out into the community doing a variety of STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) Events. Members also have the opportunity to participate in after school fun - such as; baking, bowling, movie nights, and fundraising. FCCLA is a great way to get involved in our school and community. It also helps build leadership and communication skills! :)

Main events:
- WLA (Wisconsin leadership Academy) held at UW-Stout in the fall
- Kindness in Chalk outreach in October (promoting anti-bullying)
- Salvation Army bell ringing - December
- Regional Competition held in February
- State Leadership Conference at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells
- holiday fundraising
- volunteer work

🍂 It’s going to be a BUSY month, so we have some reminders for you!!

‼️SAVE THE DATE(s):

1. Our next FCCLA meeting during WRAP will be on Friday, October 9th 🗓️

2. Dues are $15 for the year 🤑

3. Kindness in chalk will be held on Monday, October 12 during WRAP 🫟

4. October 21 we will host another recycling event with the Lions club during WRAP ♻️

5. FLC *fall leadership conference* is on October 26 at STOUT & the cost is $25 (includes lunch) 🎤

6. Partnering with the PTO on Halloween for Trunk or Treat!!! 👻 (12-4p)

Tomorrow is the BIG day!!! 📚
As we kick off the school year, please note that your officer team has been working behind the scenes to make this year AMAZING!!! 🤩

They had a working lunch meeting in August (Thanks Irma's Place 😋) to discuss our upcoming year and set goals for success! They planned fundraising, community involvement & chapter fun!

The team also spoke to the incoming 7th graders about what FCCLA is and encouraged them to join 🩷 We can’t wait for the new school year to begin & catch up with our members!

We hope you had a wonderful summer and will see you at our first meeting in the commons during WRAP on Friday, Sept. 11 📆
