Six of our X Boat sailors headed to Okoboji this week for the All Iowa Training Regatta, led by Graham Ness. Great weather, solid competition, lots of learning and plenty of fun. Thanks to the Okoboji Yacht Club Sailing School for being such wonderful hosts — as always!

We had a great first week of Sailing School! ⛵️☀️
It was awesome to see our sailors out on the water trying new things, and having fun. We’re looking forward to another great week filled with sailing, games, and lake adventures!

So much happening at the CLSC! Instructors are going through training this week and we are SO excited to welcome our newest team members — Thea, Brynn, Sofia & Riley! One question we often get asked is: what makes more sense to sign up for... morning sailing school or afternoon race classes?

👉 The answer is: you can do both... if it's what sounds good for you or your kid! You'll get something out of each kind of class.

⛵Morning class is focused on maximum on water time. It's a fun way to get some sailing experience under your belt with friends.

⛵Afternoon class is taking the skills you practice in morning classes and fine tuning them, while focusing on racing.
