We dropped Josh off at the Wisconsin State Fair this morning. He is the FFA Honors Band. They and the FFA Honors Choir will be performing on the youth stage at State Fair Park today through Sunday!

OK lads - we had an AMAZING trip to Ireland! 🇮🇪
Days 1-3 included our travel to Ireland and exploring Dublin, seeing St Patrick’s Cathedral, taking a guided tour, seeing Trinity College, and enjoying traditional Irish music and dinner!
Day 4 included a visit the Irish National Stud and Horse Racing experience and a trip to Trim to see Trim Castle. We had an excellent tour, and learned that some scenes from Braveheart were filmed here!
Day 5-6 were our first hands on farm tours - we toured BallyMaKenny Potato farm, a sheep and beef farm, O’Neills Flower and strawberry farm, and Muchrange Dairy farm. We had great tours and got to get a little dirty with hands-on experiences at all of them! Thanks to Farm Tours Ireland for setting up great tours!
Day 7 took us from east coast to west coast as we made our way from Dundalk to The Cliffs of Moher! The cliffs were a highlight for our group and we had a nice, though windy, day to explore!
Day 8 was another day of tours in the Connemara peninsula- Glengowla Mines and sheep dog demo and DK Connemara Oyster farm were our stops for the day!
Day 9 took us into Galway for a short tour in the town and some shopping. We then started our trek back east and stopped by Newbridge Silverware to learn about the silverware and jewelry making. They also have a museum of famous clothing worn in movies and other historic times.
Day 10 - back to airport and headed for home! Thanks a million for a great tour of a beautiful country!

And we are off!! This crew of 17 FFA members and 3 chaperones is headed to Ireland today for our Ag in Ireland tour! 🇮🇪🥳

Our Conduct of Chapter Meetings team competed on Tuesday and made it to the top 4 teams. They went into the final round yesterday afternoon and then were on the main stage to hear their final results. They placed 4th!
We are so proud of this group that took on this challenge of learning a new contests this year. They worked hard and that hard work paid off! Great work 🥳🥳

Our Parliamentary Procedure team competed at the State Convention this week! Monday consisted of the written test and preliminary round. While we are bummed we didn’t move on - we learned and had a great contest!
Alyssa graduated this year and is “retiring” from being our chair person - she has led this team well over the past three years and our success is due in part to her leadership.
Great work team!!
