"I'm Miss Vadeboncoeur and I will be teaching kindergarten this year. I taught third grade here at Hope last year. I graduated from Rhode Island College with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and have two years of experience in kindergarten and first grade in the West Warwick school district. Hope Elementary School is excited to welcome Miss Robitaille.

"I’m excited to begin a new chapter in my teaching career as I make the transition from fourth grade to Kindergarten here at Hope Elementary School! This will be my tenth-year teaching and my fourth here at Hope! I couldn’t be more excited to take on this new adventure. While I’ll certainly miss my fourth graders, I’m looking forward to the joy, curiosity, and excitement that comes with teaching our youngest learners. I’m excited to create a classroom where students feel welcomed, supported, and excited to learn each day. I can’t wait to see all the growth and learning that this new school year will bring!"

Hope Elementary School is excited to welcome Mrs. Melfi.

" I’m Mrs. Melfi and I’m so excited to be teaching PreK at Hope this year. I have been teaching since graduating from Boston College. I taught kindergarten in East Greenwich for 10 years. In 2014 I became the education coordinator, assistant director, and classroom teacher at The Farmhouse Preschool in Johnston. I’ve also recently been taking coursework at RIC to earn my master's degree in early childhood special education. I look forward to being part of the first PreK class at Hope, we’re going to have a fantastic year! I live in Cumberland with my husband and two of our three boys, Josh and Jacob. Our oldest son, James, recently moved all the way to Colorado, so we’re adjusting to having him so far away! I love the beach, trying new restaurants, and I really enjoy traveling. I’ve been fortunate to visit several places in Europe and someday I’d love to explore Hawaii and Japan. I’m also learning how to golf, although I’m going to need a lot more practice before I can keep up with my husband!"
