Positive Pumpkins at the CDC! In social emotional class this week we learned about a little orange spot who didn’t like Halloween because everyone thought he was a pumpkin (and have you seen what happens to pumpkins in October ☹️). He comes up with a plan to make pumpkins with positive messages to make everyone feel good. Our classrooms made their own positive pumpkins. Happy Halloween !!!

A little rain didn’t stop our fall fun at the CDC! All the children came to our indoor pumpkin patch in the First Baptist Church of Clayton to pick their own pumpkin!!! Thanks to our AWESOME and AMAZING Parent Engagement Committee for all your hard work to make this great event for the children possible!

First Baptist Clayton VBS Information!

VBS Registration is LIVE!

Hero Hotline is Sunday, July 9 – Wednesday, July 12, from 5:30-8:00 Sunday-Tuesday and 6:00-8:00 at FBCC. We will learn how we are called together to serve God through scripture, song, games, crafts, science, and fellowship! VBS will begin with a fellowship meal the first three nights at 5:30 p.m., and parents are invited to eat. After the meal, parents will take their child to sign in at his/her "hero headquarters" or home base. Pick up will be at your child’s Hero Headquarters at 8:00 p.m. sharp! On Wednesday, we will gather at 6:00 p.m. for a closing ceremony and Food Truck Dinner. VBS is open to preschool children ages 3 (as of 7/10/23) through 5, and grade schoolers from completed Kindergarten through completed of 5th Grade. If you sign up a child who is 3, you are required to volunteer. Be sure to hit the final "register" button to complete registration. If you do not get a confirmation email, your registration did not complete. We are requesting $5 for a T-shirt for participants.
