Summer time and the living is easy...

Clayton Area Preschool is proud to host the School's Out for Summer Sunset Cruise with CLAYTON ISLAND TOURS on Friday, June 26! Cruise from 6:30 - 8:30 PM, plan to arrive by 6:00 to allow for plenty of time to park and board. You're welcome to pack snacks and enjoy a cash bar onboard.

Volunteers needed! Clayton Area Preschool is in need of volunteers to work at The Clipper Inn Benefit Dinner on Wednesday, May 20. No restaurant experience needed, work alongside the fabulous team at Clipper Inn in support of the littlest members of our community.

Dessert and salad makers, dishwashers, servers, and bussers are all needed. Shifts start in the 3:30-5:45 window and all should wrap up by 8:30-9 at the latest.

Let's hear it for the teachers! At Clayton Area Preschool, we are so grateful for our teachers who welcome the kids with hugs and enthusiasm everyday. We stopped by this AM with treats from Bet's Bagels to say thank you and happy Teacher Appreciation Week to Ms. Alicia and Ms. Shannon. They were busy helping the kiddos finalize their Mother's Day gifts. ☀️

May is here which means our Clayton Area Preschool Clipper Inn Benefit Dinner is soon!

Wednesday, May 20 - don't cook! Let the team at The Clipper Inn make you a delicious dinner to enjoy there or take home in the busy week leading up to Memorial Day weekend. All in support of the Clayton Area Preschool.

This year's meal choices are: Chicken with a Mango Peach Curry Sauce, Shrimp with a Romano Vinaigrette Sauce, or Lasagna. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for kids under 12.

Enrollment is now open for the 2026-2027 school year at Clayton Area Preschool! Children age three through five are welcomed to participate and can choose from attending two to five days per week. Follow the link in the comments to learn more and access the online registration form.

A note from our teachers Ms. Shannon and Ms. Alicia: Hello! We are so excited to welcome your children to our preschool program. Enrolling your child in more days of preschool each week gives them the consistency they need to grow, learn, and feel confident. Regular attendance helps children build strong routines, which makes them comfortable and ready to participate each day. With more time at school, they have greater opportunities to develop important social skills like playing, sharing, and making friends! We love having our kiddos in the classroom and we want them to get the most out of their preschool experience!
