Hello Everyone!

I hope you are all enjoying the snow on this virtual day. I wanted to share a video I put together of some of our students amazing artwork they have created so far this year! Some of the artwork is from our hybrid students and some is from our virtual students. Even though this year has been a challenge our virtual artists are excelling, and we couldn't be prouder of them 🙂

Hi PCA Family!

I hope that you all are having a great and safe summer thus far.

I wanted to officially announce that I will not be returning to PCA this upcoming school year. I was unexpectedly presented with the opportunity to spread my love of the steel pan and the culture of my country Trinidad and Tobago at P.S. DuPont Middle School, and it would have been remiss of me not to accept.

To my PCA kiddies:
Thank you for accepting me wholeheartedly, and making me feel welcomed. Each of you has taught me so much in such a short space of time. I feel truly lucky to have been a part of your journey, and I can't wait to see you achieve your goals in the future.

To my PCA Family (Faculty, Staff, Administration)
There aren't enough words to express my sincerest gratitude, or the love I have for you. You have all embraced me, made me feel welcomed, and most of all supported the arts. I feel blessed to have been able to work with some of the most amazing humans I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Please know that you will ALWAYS be my family, and that no distance can diminish the love we share.

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone is being as safe as possible during these odd and uncertain times.

Due to the remainder of the year turning virtual, our concerts/recitals/performances have been put to the side. I have seen lots of these kids work very hard to prepare for these events, only for them not to happen.

That being said, the Performing Arts team is deciding to hold an "Performing Arts Day" where we will have students in PCA ensembles (including Dance) put on performances of their own from home! We think it is important to give students an opportunity to perform in some capacity, even if it it's different than our typical concert experience.

The Performing Arts Day will be held on Sunday, May 17 at 3pm, and I will be hosting the event! Students can choose to perform a dance, musical number (instrumental/vocal) or a dance. Parents of students in these ensembles, as well as PCA faculty will be able to view the event.
