Clayton Municipal Schools is a small rural school district located in the northeastern corner of New Mexico with less than 500 students in grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth grades. Secondary students have access to a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs including English Expo, Football, Cheer, FFA, Concert Band, Marching Band, Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Softball and Baseball.

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out, played, sponsored, donated, volunteered, and helped make the Alvis Elementary Golf Tournament Fundraiser such a success! 🧡🖤

We are so incredibly grateful for the support our school received from our amazing community. Your generosity helps us continue providing great opportunities and experiences for our Alvis students!

🚌⚠️ BUS SAFETY DRILLS THIS WEEK ⚠️🚌

Clayton Municipal Schools would like to let our families and community know that bus evacuation drills will be conducted September 14–17.

These are planned safety exercises designed to ensure that our students and staff understand the proper procedures to follow and can safely evacuate a school bus in the event of an emergency.

During these drills, you may see a school bus stopped with students participating in an evacuation exercise. Please do not be alarmed — there is no emergency. This is simply part of our ongoing efforts to prepare our students and staff and keep safety a top priority.

We appreciate the cooperation of our students, staff, bus drivers, families, and community as we practice these important safety procedures. 🧡🖤🐝
