Today, looking at my Facebook Memories did more than remind me where I’ve been.
They reminded me who I am!
As I scrolled through years of old posts, I noticed a pattern. I wasn’t talking about restaurants. I was talking about standards, boundaries, emotional intelligence, self-control, faith, healing, and learning to say no without feeling guilty.
Then it hit me…
When I started Mighty Motivation, I didn’t dream of becoming a restaurant coach. I dreamed of helping people transform their mindset and believe in themselves again.
Yes, I’ve spent more than 20 years leading in the restaurant industry, and I’m grateful for every lesson it taught me. But the restaurant was never the destination—it was the classroom.
The real lesson has always been about people.
Helping people hold their standard.
Helping people create healthy boundaries.
Helping people develop emotional intelligence.
Helping people stop believing “I can’t” and start asking, “How can I?”
Helping people trust God enough to become the person He created them to be.
Lately, God has been changing me too.
He’s teaching me that not every response deserves a reaction. He’s showing me that peace is stronger than proving a point. He’s reminding me that vulnerability isn’t weakness, boundaries aren’t selfish, and walking away can be an act of wisdom instead of defeat.
And today, through something as simple as Facebook Memories, He gently reminded me of my “why.”
Mighty Motivation has never just been about leadership.
It’s about helping people lead themselves.
So if you’ve been here for a while, thank you for growing with me. And if you’re just joining me, welcome.
This next season is about becoming who God created us to be—one mindset shift, one boundary, one act of courage, and one moment of faith at a time.
Sometimes God doesn’t have to speak through a burning bush.
Sometimes He just speaks through your own memories to remind you of the purpose He planted in your heart all along. ❤️
