Start strong this school year with the Barbour County Schools Breakfast Program! Serving balanced meals with fresh fruits, whole grains, and dairy every school day before classes begin, school breakfast helps boost student energy, focus, and overall health.

Great news for families: Barbour County students eat breakfast and lunch at no cost at participating schools, with free and reduced-price meal options available to ensure every child gets nutritious meals.

Reminder: School Medication Drop-Off Guidelines

Dear Parents and Guardians,

If you plan to bring medication to school for your student this week, please ensure you meet the following requirements before drop-off:

Original Packaging: All medication must be in its original prescription bottle or manufacturerโ€™s container.

Student Identification: The container must be clearly labeled with your student's full name.

Authorization Form: A completed Physician/Parent Authorization Form must accompany the medication.

School staff cannot administer any medication without both the original labeled container and the signed authorization form on file.

If you have any questions or need a copy of the authorization form, please reach out to the school nurse's office. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe and healthy!
