We need your help! Cleveland Elementary School is seeking family volunteers to help us monitor our students during lunch periods in order to provide our classroom teachers with a duty-free lunch. Volunteers will be monitoring and assisting students, cleaning tables, and sweeping floors. We are looking for volunteers who are willing and able to commit to a certain day and time every week for the 2nd quarter which will end in December. There will be staff members in addition to volunteers in the cafeteria during lunch. To commit to volunteering for one or more time slots for one or more days every week for 2nd quarter, please sign up below for as little or as much as you would like to help. A new sign-up will be sent out for 3rd quarter. Please be sure you have completed the JCPS volunteer application for the 2026-27 school year at https://myvolunteer.com/jcps/volunteer/login. Duty-free lunch will begin the week of October 12th. You will receive a reminder email prior to that date. Contact Mr. Igor, principal, or Mrs. Graham, assistant principal, with questions. Gratitude overflowing!

To every family who shared, pledged, cheered, and showed up for our students: this would not have been the same without you. Because of this community, we raised funds for Small School Based Grants that Promote School Programs and Initiatives, Community Engagement Events, Continued Advocacy to CES Families and so much more and gave every student at Cleveland Elementary two unforgettable weeks.

Our students practiced being Steady. They became Uplifters. They found their Purpose. They went the Extra Mile. They stayed Reliable. And they proved they've had a hero inside them this whole time.

Share this post to help us thank everyone who made it happen. ❤️

What an incredible day.

Our Apex Super Heroes Fun Run was everything. The smiles, the cheering, the finish line moments. Our students showed up with so much heart today.

Tonight is the very last night to pledge! Head to myapexevent.com, log in with your student's access code, and show your support before it closes.

Thank you for being part of this with us.

The final superpower, the one that brings it all together: HERO.

Today's lesson hit different. Our students learned that being a Super Hero isn't about flying or having super speed. It's about the choices you make every single day. Kindness, taking action, standing up for what's right.

And then came the moment that lit up the room: "You're already Super Heroes!" Steady, Uplifter, Purpose, Extra Mile, Reliable. These powers were living inside our students from the beginning. This heroic quest just helped them realize the power they already had.

Their chant today says it all: "Super Heroes lead with heart, Super Heroes from the start."

Tomorrow is the FUN RUN! Our heroes are ready. Here's the game plan for tonight: good sleep, water bottle packed, healthy breakfast in the morning, and comfy shoes. Two big rules for tomorrow: do your best, and have fun. ❤️
