Good evening Racer families this is Ms. Durko with some announcements. Tomorrow is the day! We can’t wait to see all of our first through fifth graders back at school in the morning. Some reminders… We begin letting students in the building at 8:25 and the tardy bell rings at 8:55. At 8:55, we need all students to be in their classrooms and in their seats ready for a great first day of learning. Parents are allowed to walk their students in for the first week of school only. Remember any adult entering the building will need to have their ID with them. We will have lots of staff on hand, directing traffic and helping us at morning carpool. Please ensure that the left lane of the curvy driveway stays open for staff until 8:20 each morning..
Also, tomorrow night is our kindergarten open house from 515 until 630. Kindergarten students who attend will be able to engage in activities in our gym while parents meet briefly with our teachers in the cafeteria. After the parent meeting kindergartners will be picked up and walked to the classrooms with their parents.

Good afternoon Racer families, this is your principal, Ms. Durko, with a friendly reminder.
Tonight is the night! We are thrilled to welcome our 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students back into the building for Open House tonight.
Teachers are so excited to see everyone this evening.
Students with last names A through L are invited to come anytime between 4:30 and 5:30. Students with last names M through Z are invited to come anytime between 6:00 and 7:00.
We also wanted to let everyone know that Squeeze the Day Lemonade, Lil' Reggie Cookies, and Soul Rolls will be here for Open House as well. Our amazing PTA will be here selling RDE Spirit Wear. There will be lots of tables set up in the gym like Before School Care, YMCA After School Care, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, and many more!
Feel free to bring along your child's school supplies tonight and drop them off in their classrooms.
We can't wait to see you all this evening. Have a great evening and remember, once a Racer, always a Racer.

Good evening Racer families, this is Ms. Durko with some announcements.
I hope everyone has had a safe and relaxing summer. It is hard to believe that 1st through 5th grade students will return to school next Monday. Teachers have been hard at work preparing for the best school year yet. The hustle and bustle in the hallways is so exciting.
Open House for grades 1 through 5 is this Thursday, August 20th. Open House is a floating event. It is a chance for students and their families to meet their teachers, see their classrooms, meet enhancement teachers, sign up for Before School Care or YMCA After School Program, fill out important paperwork, drop off school supplies, and get bus and carpool information. Families with the last names A-L should come between 4:30 and 5:30. Families with the last names M-Z should come between 6:00 and 7:00.
We are excited to see everyone on Thursday. Also, we are excited to welcome our newest Kindergarten Racers. Our Kindergarten Open House is on Monday, August 24th from 5:15-6:30.
