We’re honored to be named the Catalyst Foundation’s 2025 Grant Recipient for our work exposing minorities to aviation and aviation careers. ✈🏾

A huge thank you to Chaz Chapman for nominating us and using your platform to intentionally highlight us and other organizations doing the work. Your support helps us expand access and opportunity where it matters most.

And thank you to everyone who has donated, volunteered, partnered, and supported us along the way, this recognition belongs to you too!

Yesterday we hosted our 4th Annual Christmas Toy Giveaway, and we’re still in awe of what God has done. What started in 2021 as a simple desire to help one family has grown into a community effort serving 150+ families and 1,000+ children through love, generosity, and collaboration.

🌟 Excited to share that The Southside Aviator will be serving on the FIRST-EVER Host Committee for the CATALYSTS Foundation Annual Fundraiser! 🌟

This incredible event supports social impact-based scholarships and grants for college students and minority-led or minority-serving nonprofits. The funds also go toward providing pro bono consulting services to underinvested nonprofits, helping them tackle strategic challenges and amplify their positive impact. 💡✨

Thanks to an amazing community of supporters, the Foundation has raised over $14,000 to fuel innovation and empower the next generation of nonprofit and student leaders who are transforming their communities. 💪🏾💖

We’re back! Applications are now open for our 2nd Round of Discovery Flights on Feb 15 at 9 AM at Fulton County Airport (FTY)!

This flight experience is part of our inaugural Black Aviator’s Weekend—a powerful two-day celebration honoring the legacy of Black Aviators while paving the runway for future trailblazers.
