Get ready for some Halloween fun at Maple Lane Elementary! 👻🍂

Join us on Friday, October 30, 2026, as our students show off their creative costumes as they participate in a mini parade around the main circle in front of the school. 🧙‍♀️🦖👻

📅 Date: Friday, October 30, 2026
⏰ Student Line-Up: 2:00 PM
🎉 Parade Begins: 2:15 PM

📣 Parents & Families: You are welcome to come watch and cheer on our students! Please line up along the sidewalks and grassy areas around the main circle, as well as the front sidewalk around the circle, to enjoy the parade.

🎃 A Few Important Reminders:
Students may bring their costumes to school.
No weapons of any kind are permitted, including toy or replica weapons.
An alternate activity will be provided for students who do not celebrate Halloween.

October is Bullying Prevention Month, and Ms. Johnson, Maple Lane’s School Counselor, is visiting every classroom to complete bullying prevention lessons! 🦉📚

Bullying prevention is a school-and-home partnership. 🏫🏠 While students receive age-appropriate lessons and support at school, families can help reinforce safe, respectful choices—especially when friendships continue through 📱 cell phones, 💬 group chats, 🎮 gaming, and 📲 social media.
Together, we can help create a school community where everyone feels safe, respected, included, and valued. 💙

🚪 School doors open at 8:40 a.m. Students may not be dropped off unattended before 8:40 a.m., as this creates a safety concern.
⏰ Students arriving after 8:55 a.m. are considered late. A parent or guardian must come inside to sign in the student.

🚗 Dismissal Reminders
🚙 Car line begins at 3:30 p.m.
📝 After 3:40 p.m., a parent or guardian must come inside to sign out their child.
🚶 The walker door closes at 3:35 p.m. All walkers are dismissed by that time.
