🎉 ACAP Family Game Night was a SUCCESS!

We had so much fun celebrating our students who scored a Level 3 or 4 on the ACAP this past spring! They worked hard, and tonight was all about celebrating that hard work with games, family fun, and plenty of smiles.

And on top of being SMART, our Cougar Cubs showed exactly what it means to Act Respectfully! When the fun was over, they jumped in, cleaned everything up, and left the space even better than they found it.

Smart, responsible, AND helpful?! Our Cougar Cubs are simply the BEST! 💙

Our Pre-K students took a trip to the Clay Public Library! 📚

They had a great time exploring the library, learning about all it has to offer, and enjoying a little time surrounded by books!

We love giving our youngest Cougar Cubs opportunities to learn and explore beyond the classroom!

The curtain is up on a great year for Drama Club! 🎭

Our students are already having fun, building confidence, getting creative, and learning what it takes to bring a performance to life.

Drama Club is off to a GREAT start at Clay El! We can’t wait to see what this talented group has in store!

Who knew spoons could be instruments?! 🥄

Students had a hands-on music lesson with Mr. Meier as they learned how to play the spoons while getting a short introduction to bluegrass and Appalachian music.

A little music, a little history, and a whole lot of fun happening at Clay El!

STEM Day was full of color in Ms. Colburn’s class! 🎨

Students extended their study of Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes by exploring primary and secondary colors.

They learned that red, yellow, and blue are primary colors that cannot be created by mixing other colors. Then came the fun part! Students chose two primary colors, mixed their paint, and watched as a brand-new secondary color appeared.

After painting their own shoe pictures, students used their imaginations to decide what Pete might have stepped in to turn his shoes that color!

We love seeing our students learn, create, and make connections across subjects at Clay El!
