Several students have had an ongoing argument this week. The issue hinged on this question: What part of the high school is original to 1938, and which parts have been added over time? Several rivalries ensued, and students have been consulting old yearbooks, counting windows, investigating brick work, and even jumping on the floor to hear a difference in the resulting echo.

Mrs. Garrison and Mrs. Hildebrand put the issue to rest on Wednesday by searching the school's blueprint repository. They found plans from the disputed addition dated to the 1960s. Word of the discovery spread through the school, and soon all interested students gathered to examine the old plans. While some students were not happy to be proven wrong, all parties enjoyed learning something new. Primary sources saved the day!
