Ark Preschool

This week, the new morning Preschool students began school and our afternoon Pre-K kiddos were welcomed back!

A fundraiser for The Ark Preschool was held at the Clay Center Covenant Church (in the park!) last Sunday. There was a wonderful turnout to a sloppy joe meal!

The funds will be used for preschool expenses this school year, including classroom supplies, educational materials, nutritious snacks, and ongoing licensing classes.

My heartfelt thanks to those who brought food, helped serve, and donated.

The Lord has been faithful to this program for decades and I am honored to now be a part of it.

Our preschool year is wrapped up! What a fun year learning, growing, and playing. The afternoon class learned 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 and did a wonderful job reciting it and singing their other songs for our spring program!

This is one of our favorite things to do when the weather isn't cooperating for playground time. Shape search and match!

You may or may not know, I (Miss Greta) am Preschool Teacher at The Ark and also Assistant Director at The Lighthouse. For Christmas, I loved making a connection between my preschool students and the children who come in to The Lighthouse with parents seeking assistance. Thank you for these sweet stuffies, and practicing generosity as Christ calls us to do!
(Blankets were donated as well, but aren't pictured)

These sweet “comfort stuffies” were donated by Miss Greta’s preschool class at the Ark and will be used to bring extra comfort to children during referral assistance visits. A big thank you to Miss Greta and her students for their kindness!
