These last three and a half years running an in home licensed daycare has been full of surprises and learning experiences. First and foremost, I have to make a shout out to my son, Porter, for sharing me with 5 other kids at a time. It’s not easy to share your Mamas love and all of your toys with so many other kids each day. Second, Id like to thank my husband. More than he knows I appreciate him taking off work to care for Porter on most days he was sick so I could keep the business up and running. I pride myself in being reliable for my families and couldn’t do that without his help. Without him my dream of starting my own daycare couldn’t have come to life so early on.
Running your own business comes with pros and cons of course. Most of my work days were full of laughter, tears, messes, poopy diapers, potty training, teaching, guiding manners, say your sorries, kissing boo boos, and whipping noses, however, one thing will always stand out and that’s LOVE. I loved these kids as my own and I am going to miss the heck out of each and every one of them! Please don’t be a stranger. Keep in touch and send me milestone photos of my babies! Whether your little one was in my care, or you just liked my little updates on this page, Thank you for being a part of Liz’s Little Ones! This business has been one of my greatest achievements.
We celebrated our last day of daycare watching the movie Trolls and eating ice cream 🍦inside on a rainy day. The kids loved having a special treat and I love treating them. I highly recommend these little cones you can find them at Meijer or Target! They were a big hit!
