As we head into the 2026–2027 school year, a quick reminder for our CPS families about student cell phones and personal electronic devices.

While new state legislation is now in place, CPS policies already meet these requirements and will remain the same this year. Our schools will be consistent in enforcing these expectations to help protect instructional time, student focus, and engagement.

Another fantastic first day is in the books for our CPS staff! Our team was welcomed back to Central Campus this morning by district leadership, kicking off two full days of professional learning, collaboration, and preparing for the 2026–2027 school year.

Our teachers and staff are back, our buildings are buzzing again, and we’re getting ready to welcome our Trojans next! Here’s to a great year ahead, CPS! ✨💙💛

Step in time... and into the spotlight! ☂️🎶 The Clawson Drama Department is excited to announce auditions for this year’s musical, Mary Poppins!

Students entering 6th-12th grade are invited to audition and be part of an unforgettable production filled with music, dancing, and a little bit of magic. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or trying the stage for the first time, we’d love to see you there!

Audition Dates:
~ October 5 – Dance Audition
~ October 6 or 7 – Vocal/Acting Audition (choose one)
