Due to an increase in property values, Claude ISD is now deemed a property-wealthy district by state standards and is required to send funds back to the state through the state funding system known as Recapture or "Robin Hood". Claude ISD will have its very first Chapter 49 Election or Proposition A on the November 2026 ballot.

Principals wear a hundred different hats a day: leader, mentor, problem-solver, and cheerleader. We are so grateful for the hard work, passion, and heart Mrs. Sherrill and Mr. Johnson bring to our Mustang family.

Congratulations to our livestock judging team consisting of Reece Myers, Caven Podzemny, Josh Finley, Hadley Turner, and Ashton Finley for placing 3rd out of 42 teams at Tri-State today! A big congratulations to Josh for being 7th high individual out of 125!
