Frost Valley YMCA Find your Happy Place in the Catskills ⛰️

Frost Valley YMCA is a 5,000 acre residential camping, environmental education, and conference center located in the heart of the "forever wild" Catskill Mountain Preserve. As a charitable organization, we raise funds throughout the year for camperships that cover the costs of camp for children and families who would not otherwise be able to attend.

Today, we celebrate the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of Indigenous peoples all around the world. We recognize the land on which Frost Valley operates, and the ancestral peoples who shared it. We look forward to our continued partnership with the North American Indigenous Center of New York as we work towards our mission of connection.

Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day from all of us at Frost Valley!

We are sad to announce the passing of long time staff member and volunteer, Dale “the Baker” Price. Dale began his Frost Valley journey on the food service team in June of 1981, and continued to be a pillar of Frost Valley staff for the next 43 years, then ending his tenure as a valued member of the Facilities team. After his retirement, Dale became one of our most active volunteers, supporting Dan DeChellis and our Natural Resources program.

Dale will be remembered fondly by all of us at Frost Valley, for his decades of service, his craftsmanship, and his friendship. We send our deepest condolences to his wife, Eva, and his family.
