“Princess Royal” is a tune by O’Carolan, the blind harpist. He had gone blind from small pox around the age of 18. After going blind, he learned to play harp in a turn of events that caused him to become one of Ireland’s best known harpists. This is a fun tune for guitar and here is my arrangement in A minor for 22 string harp.

“Chanter’s Tune” is a melody included in Bunting’s “Ancient Music of Ireland” published in 1840. Several of my guitar students enjoy playing it on guitar and here I am playing my arrangement on my miniature Paraguayan harp.
