APSU Jazz Collegians

Combo sounded great!

We (Jazz Collegians) will be having our annual Friends and Family concert to finish out the semester this Thursday (Nov 20th) @4:00 in the Bandroom. We will play selections from our last two concerts along with having the Jazz Collective (combo) perform. These students are swingin’ it out! Don’t miss it!

The legendary Bobby Watson will be performing Saturday Night, April 5th @7:30 PM

He will also give a free and open to the public Jazz Clinic at the Clarksville Public Library Friday, April 4th @3:30.

The APSU Mid-South Jazz Festival has been canceled for Thursday (tonight) and Friday night.

I will search for other dates for the groups to perform and keep everyone updated.

These cats are sounding great! We will performing selections from Buddy Rich, Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Bob Curnow and Mark Taylor. And of course, it’s always a blast to bring back some of our incredible alumni for the night.

Jazz Collegians along with the Jazz Collective put on a great performance today. These young musicians are the future and I’m extremely proud and blessed to be a small part of it. Thanks for all your hard work this semester.
