💛💙 FFA State Convention Recap!💙💛
What an amazing opportunity it is to be able to attend the 98th Annual Tennessee State Convention this week. During our time in Gatlinburg, MCHS FFA was recognized as a “Superior Chapter” in the state of Tennessee as well as 6 Seniors also received the State Degree!!
The State Degree is awarded by the State Association and is open to members in the 11th or 12th grade who are involved in chapter leadership, state level activities, community service, and completed a set number of hours of instruction and SAE growth/productivity.

This afternoon, your local Montgomery Central High School FFA Chapter Officers participated in the State FFA Goodwill Tour and Formal Luncheon at F&M Bank to meet and hear from their State Officers!

Yesterday at the Regional Soil/Land Judging Competition, our team competed and scored in the top 20 teams in middle Tennessee!
The team consisted of :

Head’s Peach Farm showed us how dreams grow into orchards—FFA learning at its best! 🍑🌳
During the visit, students received a glimpse inside of this local agricultural business and took part in a tour of their operation. Thank you to Head’s Peach Farm for your hospitality!!

Soil doesn’t judge…but we do!
On September 8, Your FFA Chapter competed at the District Soil/Land Judging Competition held at Austin Peay State University! We had two teams compete and both finished first and second along with Ray Black being the top finisher individually. Congratulations!! 🎉

Another day, another trip to the farm! Our FFA officers took time out of their summers to come help with some monthly upkeep including deworming the goats as well as transporting the ram lambs to the back field. Great job ladies!

A few of our FFA officers are back on the school farm, where the real classroom is! They were more than happy to spend some time helping to keep our animals happy and healthy!! 🐐🐑
