The City of Clarksville's Recycling Center accepts: plastic, metal, aluminum, cardboard, paper, glass, electronics, batteries, and more to come.
In addition to recycling materials, we also offer educational opportunities such as recycling basics, re-purposing demonstrations, field trips, and tours. The center also boasts a butterfly rain garden, and small stage for performances and lessons. Great News! Our partner, GreenSource Recycling, here in Clarksville is now accepting tires! Located just a 1/4 mile up Hwy. 21, GreenSource will accept up to four tires every 30 days for free! Please take advantage of this opportunity, so that those old tires don't end up in the landfill, rivers, or atmosphere.
Don't forget to adjust your thermostats before you go out on your weekend adventures. It's an easy way to be Eco-friendly and save a few dollars!
Presidents' Day is a perfect time to reflect on what Teddy Roosevelt, our 26th President, once said: "We are prone to speak of the resources of this country as inexhaustible; this is not so." Recycling is patriotic. Let's preserve our resources and reuse what we already have!

We see this type of pollution often in Clarksville. Thankfully, good folks like you all also stop to pick it up. If you would like to give credit to your organization, neighbors, or yourself, feel free to brag on our wall. We strive to keep Clarksville a beautiful community, and we know you do as well! We hope to see you and your recyclables soon!
10 a.m this trash was on side of 62 by big creek 3 p.m it was still there. I couldn't just leave it so I picked it up.
