Our little explorers had so much fun with this week’s Learning Beyond Paper experience, “Exploring Textures!” They used their senses to investigate bubbles—watching them float, feeling them pop, and discovering something new with every touch. 👶🫧

For infants, these simple sensory experiences are full of learning! As they explore different textures and sensations, they’re building awareness of the world around them and developing those early sensory skills. 💙

Sometimes the simplest activities make the biggest discoveries! 🌎✨

Little hands, big discoveries!

Our infants had a fin-tastic time with Ms. Stephanie during their “Exploring with My Hands” lesson! Using hair gel, a Ziploc bag, and colorful plastic fish, our little learners were able to safely explore textures, movement, and cause-and-effect through hands-on sensory play.

With a warm, nurturing voice and a safe environment, babies can feel secure while they explore the world around them. Every touch, squish, and discovery is a little step in learning!

Smiles all day on this Monday! 😊 From the classrooms inside our school to the playground during recess, joy was everywhere we looked. From our youngest students to our oldest, it was wonderful to see friendships growing, learning happening, and so many happy faces throughout the day. What a great way to start the week! 💙✨

🦦✨ Teamwork makes the dream work — even when the "dream" is squeaky-clean carpets!

This afternoon, our Creekstones team rolled up our sleeves and cleared out every classroom to make way for a deep, professional carpet cleaning. No task is too big (or too small) when it comes to giving our little otters the freshest, healthiest space to learn and play in.

It's not the most glamorous part of our job — but a little sweat equity today means bright, clean rooms ready for all the big moments tomorrow. That's the Otter Way: showing up for each other and for our families, one classroom at a time. 💙🧡

Today, our preschoolers became weather watchers as they explored the question, “What is the weather?” ☀️☁️🌬️

Children observed the weather outside and used pictures and words to identify what they saw. They listened carefully, answered questions, and shared their observations with confidence. Some of the weather words our students used included sunny, cloudy, partly cloudy, windy, and hot!

This hands-on activity helped strengthen listening, language, and observation skills while encouraging children to connect classroom learning to the world around them. Great job, preschoolers! 🌤️💙

Today, our Camp Holt campers learned about The LEGO Group and explored the incredible creations of master LEGO builders. Inspired by what they discovered, campers put their creativity to work by designing and building their own unique LEGO creations. From imaginative structures to one-of-a-kind inventions, each camper had the opportunity to express their ideas and showcase their building skills. We loved seeing their creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork in action! 🧱✨
