This weeks Dunkin’ Trivia was a real mind moooover but Coach Ratliff and his first period class got it right away. They were extremely excited in the opportunity to share 3 dozen of Dunkin’ donuts courtesy of Tiny Town Dunkin’.
Dunkin’ Trivia question: This popular name originated from a 19th century Texas lawyer who acquired a ranch with several hundred head of cattle. Uninterested in being a rancher, he left his cattle unbranded and pretty much let them roam free. Over time this name became a word for unbranded cattle. Today it more commonly means a person who acts individually rather than with a group. If you are stuck on this one, you should ask Tom Cruise for a flyby to answer this question.

On Friday, Sept 25 be sure to wear your class color for Class Color Wars:

Seniors - Pink

Juniors - Green

Sophomores - Red

Freshmen - Light Blue

PowderPuff Football game will be held in the stadium on Friday, Sept 25 during the school day in the AM. Tickets are $2 each and every student wanting to attend the game must have a ticket. Tickets are available for purchase in the Cafeteria during lunch periods through 9/23.

HOCO Parade and Pep Rally will be held on Friday, Sept 25 times to be determined.

Football game in the stadium Kickoff at 7:00pm. HOCO festivities will be held pre-game and during half-time.

HOCO Dance will be held in the Main Gym on Friday, Sept 25 from 8:30pm-11:30pm. Tickets may be purchased in the cafeteria during the lunch periods from 9/14-23. No outside guests are permitted in the dance. See ticket pricing in the attached flyer.

CADY will be on campus on Thursday, 9/17 photographing students for the yearbook. Please remind your student to dress appropriately and come prepared for their portrait. Families can confirm their information and save $10 on photo packages by pre-ordering before Picture Day. They will be photographed during their English classes. For our students who travel off campus to NSCC campus and Founders, they will still have their opportunity to be photographed and communications will go out internally for their teachers to allow them to go since some of these students may not be assigned to an English class here at our Main Campus.

Congratulations to the Lady Eagles Soccer team, they defeated the Lady Rebels of Stewart County last night 9-0. Jenna Sierawski and Dakota Haupt led the scoring with four goals each, and Tammy Escun added the final goal to complete the victory. Amerie Slade and the defense ended the game with a clean sheet, securing the victory. The Lady Eagles will take on Lady Wildcats of Clarksville High tonight 9/15 at CHS game begins at 6:30pm. Admission is $8 on GoFan or cash at the gate. See you tonight.
