She knows how to prepare students for meeting a real-live author.
She knows how to get kids excited.
She knows how to set things up and have them ready for a perfect presentation.
HEY…she even hosted a “Lunch with the Author” for selected students!!

I’m pleased to visit my West Virginia friends in November. It’s going to be a great gathering for Mountaineer educators . . . as we discuss literacy.

East Tennessee: Sept. 23 & 24
Arkansas: Nov. 5 & 6
West Virginia: Nov. 18, 19 & 20

I’ve been in Italy for 8 weeks. I have worked on a manuscript for a lot of that time and it’s in good shape. We will see how it goes in the marketplace.
