President's Corner Peer Educator Spotlight! 💡
Check out what President Licari said about one of our Peer Tutors, Lily!

"When the Logan Todd Regional Water Commission needed a way to inspect a 15-mile underground pipeline serving 13 Tennessee and Kentucky communities without cutting off service to thousands of residents, our students got to work.

Engineering physics students Casey Holly, Lily Skau, and Eric Rose developed an acoustic monitoring system using accelerometers to detect sediment buildup from the pipe's exterior, making traditional pipe-cutting or costly robotic inspection unnecessary.
Working under the guidance of Dr. Russ Longhurst, the team built the prototype for roughly $6,000 and earned the top prize at the College of STEM's annual Innovation Experience. The team plans to publish their methodology so other communities facing similar infrastructure challenges can benefit from their work."

President's Corner Peer Educator Spotlight! 💡Check out what President Licari had to say about one of our Peer Tutors, Noah!

“At 20 years old, Noah Janecek is heading to law school a year ahead of schedule and with $90,000 in scholarship support.

He is among the first APSU students in several years to complete our accelerated 3+3 program, which allows political science students to earn both a bachelor's degree and a law degree in just six years through a partnership with Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law. Noah earned that distinction while leading legislation in our Student Government Association, volunteering with a Nashville nonprofit, and thriving in some of our most demanding coursework."

As the Spring 2026 semester comes to a close, we gathered to celebrate the people who make CASE such an important part of the APSU community.

We honored our peer educators, campus partners, award recipients, and CRLA-leveled peer educators for the dedication, leadership, and care they bring to student success every single day. Their impact reaches far beyond the classroom, helping students build confidence, connection, and achievement across campus.

Congratulations to this year’s award recipients and to our peer educators who achieved CRLA certification milestones! 🎩❤️🖤🤍

The Impact & Dedication Award was presentBailey Perry Perry, whose journey with CASE has truly come full-circle - from undergraduate Corequisite Leader to Graduate Assistant. Throughout every step of that journey, Bailey has demonstrated unwavering dedication and made a lasting impact on our students, our team, and APSU.

Bailey leads with genuine care, compassion, and heart, qualities that leave a lasting impression on everyone around her. We are incredibly grateful for all she has poured into CASE over the years.

While we will miss her greatly, we are so excited to see her begin this next chapter with CMCSS. They are lucky to have her. ❤️
