Today several of our Cobra Cadets participated in the CMCSS JROTC STEM trip to the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Cadets participated in a tour and visited various exhibits highlighting the history of American efforts to explore space. The also attend a planetarium show where they learned about the Milky Way Galaxy and fished the day conducting a lab experiment where they built small solos powered replicas of the Mars Rover.

Cadets from the Cobra Battalion volunteered their time this evening at YAIPAK. Cadets unloaded a truckload of donated furniture to help local Veterans and victims of domestic violence. Cadets and parent volunteers also sorted through clothing and blankets destined to help our neighbors in need.

Today our top Cadets on the air rifle team competed in the Coyote Classic Top Shot Competition at West Creek High School. We would like to congratulate CDT Eunique Turner (L) for placing 3rd in the Veteran Shooter Category and CDT McKenna Milhous (R) for placing 3rd in the First Year Shooter Category. Great job!

Our Cadets started the hands on portion of their Service Learning Project after school today. Cadets toured the YAIPAK facility to learn how YAIPAK supports disaster relief and the community on a day to day basis. Following the tour, they worked together packing 142 food bags for our Clarksville neighbors in need.

The Cobras had a big game last night against Dickson County. Our Cadets were supporting the school be providing traffic control, referee es**rt, gate guard and color guard. We appreciate everyone that stayed late to support the Cobra Community.
