As we wrap up another incredible American School Counselor Association Conference, we’re returning to campus with fresh ideas, renewed energy, and an even stronger commitment to preparing the next generation of professional counselors.
Throughout the week, APSU Counseling faculty and students had the opportunity to learn from leaders in the profession, share our own expertise through presentations and roundtable discussions, reconnect with colleagues, and build new professional relationships. Experiences like these strengthen our program and enhance the learning opportunities we provide our students.
We look forward to bringing what we’ve learned back to the classroom, our clinical training experiences, and the communities we serve.
Until next year, ASCA!

The conference crew is officially complete!
Dr. Sandifer joined in on the fun too 👩🏽🏫 During the conference, Dr. Gibson and Dr. Sandifer co-facilitated a roundtable discussion, engaging counselor educators in meaningful conversations and the exchange of ideas.
Conferences like ASCA provide valuable opportunities for our faculty to share their expertise, collaborate with colleagues from across the country, and bring new knowledge and innovative practices back to our students. We are proud of our faculty’s commitment to leadership, scholarship, and service to the counseling profession.
Let’s Go Peay! 🎩
