And just like that…we celebrate the retirement of two of Barksdale’s finest! Congratulations on your retirement Mrs. Davidson and Mrs. Robertson! RING THAT BELL!! 💙🧡💙🧡

Barksdale Bengals ended the year with the annual Canball Championship. The top 40 students who made the most doubles throughout the year faced off against each other to claim the title of Canball Champion!!

Thank you Bengal PTO for treating our 5th graders to a delicious breakfast to help celebrate their milestone of moving onto middle school. Students LOVED the t-shirts you gifted them. 💙🧡💙🧡

Congratulations to our attendance winners for the 2nd semester! These students had 95% or greater attendance from January 6th through the end of the school year. A huge THANK YOU to our PTO for providing Summer Fun Baskets to each of our winners. ATTENDANCE MATTERS!

We had some visitors in our 4th grade today! We had Clara Barton, Daniel Boone, Dorothea Dix, Paul Revere, and many more.
Our 4th graders hosted a Wax Museum of famous people. Parents and grade levels were invited to visit and learn about these famous people. Great job 4th grade!

This week we celebrated our very own Nurse Sandra and our wonderful Cafeteria ladies! Thank you all for EVERYTHING you do! To our cafeteria ladies…thank you for feeding us every day, and Nurse Sandra, thank you for taking care of all the boo boos among many other things!

It’s almost time!!! Today is 5th grade Recognition practice. Monday is the ceremony. Can’t believe the year is almost over!
